Dear club members,
My name is Les Titus and I am the tour director for the Legacy Annual Bicycle Ride Across Utah (LAGBRAU). The LAGBRAU has been called, "the worlds most scenic bicycle tour." Click on the link and you will see a few comments from recent participants. LAGBRAU IV is coming in September and over the past three years we have tweaked it each year to overcome some unique challenges. I will soon include a brief history of the LAGBRAU on the website so that people can appreciate the evolution of the LAGBRAU into what is destined to become known as "the premier must do" bicycle tour not only in the U.S., but also in the entire world, which is our goal.
This magnificent ride is only 4 months away and the early sign-up discount, which is greater than the group and club discounts, still applies for now. If you will pass on this email and html flyer to your club members, they will thank you if they come and participate. If they will mention this message as the way they learned about it and write the club name and address on their registration form, we will send $20 dollars for every registration we receive from your club.
Until now we have kept the marketing on a small scale by not doing much more than listing it on a few tour calendars, and we have not exceeded 101 riders. However, we feel so confident about the LAGBRAU now that we will soon begin to market it on a much bigger scale. We encourage you and your club members to come and experience it while it is still a relatively small crowd. We are sure that they will agree with David Whitmer that, "it was the ride of a lifetime," and Steve and Carol Hopkins who rode it on a tandem that, "it was the best of the best." When Dave, Steve and Carol return they will tell you that the best got even better. We hope you and your club members will come and find out for your self. YOU WILL LOVE IT!
