FVBSC Winter Fun Day/Social
Now with a 16.5 mile bike ride
Sat. Feb 22, 2020—11-4 (set up 10am)
Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve
Come snowshoe/cross country ski/sled/toboggan ---
(hike and/or bike ride if no snow.) Enjoy fireplace, board games, and
lunch in heated cabin (electricity and indoor plumbing.)
Stay awhile or all day---Family event.
Club provides beverages/utensils/paper goods.
BRING: your winter equipment, board games, dish to pass (suggested-
hot dish like chili or baked beans, salad, appetizer or dessert.)
Note—No alcohol, campfires, or amplified music allowed
Pets must be on leashes
Once again, we have adult size snowshoes from Special Olympics.
Bring appropriate footwear if you want to try them (hiking boots are good.)
Contact Jeanne B 847-742-1294 if you can help set up or
clean up, tend the fireplace or bring kindling
(smaller sticks/wood to start fire —from Kane County only please.)
FP provides split logs.
