New Cyclist Clinic

Calling all newer cyclists of any age and ability to a FREE Introduction to Group Riding Clinic.  This will be a 45-minute discussion of basic group riding techniques including:  pre-ride check, bike equipment, group ride communication and protocol, bike safety, and building speed and endurance.  We will also learn about the benefits of joining FVBSC.  After the discussion we will have a short 30-min ride on the Fox River Trail 10-12 MPH to practice what we have learned.  Bring your bike and helmet and be ready to ride.

All participants are encouraged to learn the Rules of the Road and take the Bike Safety Quiz presented by the Ride Illinois organization before the clinic https://rideillinois.org/safety/bike-safety-quiz/

In accordance with Restore Illinois Phase 4 guidelines, Minimum Social Distancing rules must be followed (strongly recommend more than 6 feet while riding). No Drop.

Any riders wanting to join must text me (630-567-2300) prior to 8:00 PM Saturday night confirming they wish to attend the clinic.  NO TEXT, NO RIDE.

Guests welcome but non-FVBSC members must sign a waiver form at the ride start. Riders under 16 require parent signature.  Look forward to seeing you.
