7:30 AM: Metric Road Ride - HMS to Millington

Metric century distance road ride from Harter Middle School to Millington with convenience store stops planned in Plano, Sandwich and (if necessary) Big Rock.  No meal stop, so recommend you bring extra provisions.

Expected average ride pace of 15-17 mph. No Drop, but accordion riding expected (riders will separate and regroup (at safe distance) at major turns).  Strongly suggest you have a map/cue sheet of the route and/or loaded on your GPS/phone.

This ride is in support of the #VirtualEdition of Everybody Rides, the fundraiser for Project Mobility's mission to bring adaptive cycling opportunities to the lives of children, adults, and wounded service members with emotional and physical challenges.  Cyclists are encouraged to participate as part of the FVBSC Team.  FVBSC will match up to $1500 for all member registrations.

On behalf of FVBSC, The Bike Rack and Project Mobility, we thank you for your support!

Please also note the following:

• In accordance with Restore Illinois Phase 4 guidelines, Minimum Social Distancing rules must be followed (strongly recommend more than 6 feet while riding).

• Any riders wanting to join must text me (630-531-4366) prior to 8:00 PM Saturday night confirming they wish to ride. This is so that I know who is planning to join in the event of a last-minute change of time, venue, route, etc.  NO TEXT, NO RIDE.

• For any/all stops, riders must wear a mask to enter public facilities.

• Non-FVBSC Members/Guests:  We encourage riders who do not know about the Club to take us out for a "test ride" or two.  A waiver must be signed by non-Members prior to the ride.  Per our Insurance company's guidelines, a guest may join a Club ride for a maximum of two events.  After that, they must be a Club member to continue riding with us.  This is for liability insurance reasons, as well as supporting expenses for the Club website, RidewithGPS Club subscription, etc.  Any questions, please contact me @ caseycordon@yahoo.com.

Look forward to seeing you.  Please Stay Safe.
