Intermediate-High Ride (16-18mph) - 46 miles

This is a 46 mile out-and-back ride.  The entire route is paved.  Most of the route is on bike trails.  There are several long segments with no cross streets and little pedestrian traffic, allowing for a fast paced ride.

The overall ride average pace will be 16-18mph.  This means that there will be times we are riding at 14-16mph and times we will ride at 18-20mph, but overall our average for the entire ride will be 16-18mph.

This is a no-drop ride.  We may accordion out, but we will wait for everyone to catch up at any intersection or decision point.  There is little chance to get lost on the trails.

We will stop for water/snack as needed.  There is a CVS at around 20 miles, if desired.

Start location is Waterfall Glen Parking Lot #3 (Lemont Rd & 101st St) in Lemont.
