It’s that time of the year, colorful leaves all around the shore of Lake Geneva besides those mansions, top line architectures. Join me on a 26-mile hike on Nov 3rd!
Please be prepared, water and snacks, best in back pack.
We will depart from the Visitors Center no later than 8 am.
My personal suggestions are double layer socks, comfortable shoes, double layer top, walking stiks and a pack of “New Skin”. Also, a set of clothes to change. There is an opportunity for dinner with the lake view after the hike.
There are three bathroom points along the shore. There is no supply along the road. There are mid point Fontana Beach, or Gordy’s Boat House and a restaurant available at Pier 290. No scheduled stop is planned - these are provided for your reference if you are unable to continue the hike.
Hike starts from Lake Geneva Visitors Center no later than 8. Please arrive earlier, park in the neighborhood since it is time limited parking space around. It’ll take 6 to 8 hours, depending on our speed.
Call or text me if you are planing to come, 630-252-0698. I’ll be glad to share the ride if you can get to my house before 6. (planning to have breakfast there)
Watch weather closely, we will NOT hike if there is over 40% rain chance reported Friday evening.
