8:15 AM: Brunch Road Ride - Headwaters to Oswego - 62
About this event
Metric Century ride from Headwaters Park to Oswego, with water stops in Aurora and Sugar Grove. Planned brunch at Tap House Grill (take out, maybe tables available nearby?). Expected average pace of ~15 mph, No Drop. Accordion riding expected (riders will separate and regroup (at safe distance) at major turns). Please also note the following: • In accordance with Restore Illinois Phase 3 guidelines, Minimum Social Distancing rules must be followed (strongly recommend more than 6 feet while riding). No drafting. • Any riders wanting to join must text me (630-531-4366) prior to 8:00 PM Saturday night confirming they wish to ride. NO TEXT, NO RIDE. • Group is limited to 10 riders, including the leader. • If the total number of interested riders exceeds 10, then I have a volunteer who will co-lead another group (with an offset departure time). • For any stops (gas stations/restaurants, etc.) all riders must have a mask to enter public facilities. • Any/all non-FVBSC members must sign a waiver form. Note: if you join the Club, then the waiver is “signed” for the year. Hope to see you on Sunday morning. Please Stay Safe.
