Morning cross-country ski at Herrick Lake preserve if conditions allow. Icy trails were “tenderized” this wk at Herrick and Danada—so may be fine close to the woods, may be thin in open areas depending on Fri temps/sun. Plan is to ski. You may want to bring hiking boots and/or snowshoes so you can enjoy the trails if ski conditions are not to your liking. (Non-skiers must stay in center of trail, no walking on ski tracks!) COVID guidelines-mask, social distance, limit 10, pls sign up by 8pm Fri.
Take north (main) entranced off Rt 56, follow left to pkg lot (near boathouse) Heated restrm bldg is open. 9Am start at trail entrance kiosk/sign. Option to continue longer if desired. Questions-contact Jeanne B (ski chair)
