Frank's Galena Weekend 2019 - Day 2

55.6 mi., 4,307 ft. of elevation

A popular club event (in its 8th year) put together by cross-country rider Frank Hassler. Enjoy three days of riding through the beautiful Galena Territories and surrounding areas. Past rides have included sections in Southern Wisconsin and Eastern Iowa. The ride distance varies; but usually around 40-60 miles daily. Be prepared for some hill climbing! (2,000 - 4,500 feet of elevation). Use this event as an incentive to meet your season’s training goals. Overnight accommodations are the rider’s responsibility. Ride Friday, Saturday, or all three days.

 
Frank's 2019 Galena Weekend - SATURDAY

"Ride starts at 8:00 am (Roll Time) at Galena Recreation Park. The ride will cross Jo Daviess Co. on the way to Shullsburg, WI. for brunch at the Water Street Place Pub and Eatery. Return to Galena on roads through the hills of the driftless area of Illinois.
We will choose a dinner spot in Galena."
