Village of S Elgin Meeting re bike path land acquisition

Notice of Public Meeting

The Village of South Elgin is hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the South Elgin Village Hall, Board Room (2nd Floor), 10 N. Water Street, South Elgin, to solicit input from the public on a proposal initiated by the Village to acquire property along the east side of the Fox River, between State and Oak Streets, for a public bike path. The proposed bike path would be constructed on parcels of land identified by Parcel Identification Numbers (PINs): 06-35-184-017, 06-35-184-020, and 06-25-184-023, and generally known as 102 E. State Street.

Property owners and residents are encouraged to attend the public meeting and provide comments on the proposal. Written comments will also be accepted and can be mail to Kim Wascher, Director, Village of South, Parks and Recreation Department, 10 N. Water Street, South Elgin, IL 60173, or via email at kwascher@southelgin.com.
