This is an intermediate 40-mile ride 14-16 MPH with 1 planned brunch stop at Benedict’s La Strada in Crystal Lake. We have tables reserved in their 3-season porch area for brunch. Route will be 95% paved asphalt trail (FRT), road/gravel/hybrid bikes, 26+MM tires recommended. Strong southerly winds expected, trail should provide some cover.
Any riders wanting to join must text me (Carrie 630-567-2300) prior to 8:00 PM Friday night confirming they wish to ride. For any/all stops, riders must wear a mask to enter public facilities. Bring front light for early morning rides. Guests welcome but non-FVBSC members must sign a waiver form at the ride start (ride leader provides). Look forward to seeing you.
