Arrowhead-Herrick XC ski-CANCELLED- due to weather, will reschedule

POSTPONED-WATCH CALENDAR FOR NEW DATE-POSSIBLY NEXT WKEND

Predictions for sub-zero wind chill will cancel event.  Please check website for any
updates before ski. If cancelled, we hope to reschedule when weather is more favorable. BYO equipment.
Park at Arrowhead -meet by green flag (by"train car") west side of bldg.
Arrowhead and Herrick FP are groomed for both classic
(traditional) or skate skiing.  Leader plans to bring track ('classic')
skis, and go at medium pace but will adjust based on participant skill
levels.  Planned route is about 6 miles, with both shortcuts and extra
credit available.  Skate skiers are welcome, but may need to do extra
credit to avoid waiting at gathering points due to the usual speed
differences.   
Indoor restrooms at Arrowhead-bring a mask to enter building due to covid precautions. Leader will be wearing a red parka at the start. 
Note-we will have a separate event at Arrowhead (planned for Sun 2/21) for beginner skiers.
