Planned group ride for longer distances at moderate pace (this may be adjusted based on the riders participating). Route direction and length determined each week by projected weather/wind forecast and will be posted with link prior to ride day. There will be a rotating list of ride leaders.
This is a NO DROP ride. Accordion riding expected (riders will separate and regroup (at safe distance) at major turns). Strongly suggest you have a map/cue sheet of the route and/or loaded on your GPS/phone. Each ride with a have a selection of rest stops placed along the route. As the season progresses, the ride distance will increase with the ultimate goal to help train for a Club Century planned in early Fall.
Rear lights required. Front lights recommended to enhance personal safety. High visibility apparel recommended.
Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan on a post-ride brunch at a nearby restaurant.
