NEVER GET A CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN PROJECT MOBILITY’S EVERY BODY RIDES . . . come join us for an "Everybody Rides, Pre-Ride” event and help Project Mobility check the routes.
Riders will meet at James O‘Breen Park in St. Charles and have the options of a 29, 46 or 62 mile ride.
29 mile - Blue Loop (will be ridden by all) – 17.3 miles out / 11.7 miles back.
44 mile – Green Loop (ride Blue & Green Loops)
62 mile – Yellow Loop (ride Blue, Green & Yellow Loops)
The Blue Loop takes us to Hills Purple Store in Lafox, and we will be using this as our rest stop.
- Options are to bring your own food & beverage – or – purchase lunch, snacks & beverages from the store. (They always have great lunches!)
- If you plan on bringing your own lunch and don’t want to ride with it – please let Stephanie know – her hubby will be the “lunch transporter” - (630) 776-4054.
- The park across the street has Port-a-Potties (should you need a washroom) and a covered picnic area.
* PLEASE NOTE: Blue Loop starts out going West on Campton Road (not a favorite for a lot of us). An option is to drive to Hills Purple Store (parking in the park lot on Hartner just west of the store) and ride the Green and/or Yellow loops.
GPS LINKS WILL POST SHORTLY - JERRY IS FINE TUNING THEM!

The Arlington 500 is a recreational bike ride on scenic roads in Lake County. The
Arlington Heights Bicycle Club (AHBC) has hosted this ride for over 40 years. It is
attended by hundreds of riders; see the testimonials at the end of these notes.
For 2024, we moved the on-site registration and rest stop location to Lake Zurich High
School based on feedback from 2023 riders, and we will be keeping the hub and spoke
configuration. The new location provides access to all new routes with a variety of
terrain. In addition, we will be offering a wide variety of food choices.
